Creative Consultant

Stimulate innovation by generating ideas more effectively. Maximise productive collaboration, go beyond the obvious and see new sides of a situation. Here is an introduction to creative thinking…

How much is an idea worth? According to a psychology study, the average person will typically have more than 6,000 thoughts in a single day. A thought can be an opinion, a plan, an idea or even a picture.

Critical thinking is for assessing things that already exist whereas creative thinking is about generating possibilities. It’s the “What if …?” and that little question makes a big difference because it can assist with channelling thousands of thoughts into valuable ideas.

I operate as a creative thinker in different guises…

The Conductor

I lead from the front. Creativity needs to be protected and encouraged under a vision. There needs to be a clear strategy, good communication and commitment. I undertake digital projects and campaigns on behalf of clients and I bring together creative ensembles.

The Facilitator

I encourage others. It is about creating a culture for open-minded, free-thinking innovators. Facilitating space, time and resources in the right way allows people to ask questions, test ideas and invest in the process. It is a fantastic way to freshen up channels of communication. The more creativity you use the more you have and so my focus is to encourage others to be more creative.

The Supporter

I am a team player. Lots of people are very creative and driven and they don’t need a leader. What they need is support and I have worked in many roles to help other creatives achieve their goals. Interaction needs to be positive and productive. There needs to be trust and understanding. That way, people can keep their focus on what they are moving towards and know they have help when it is needed.
